About
Welcome to Leda's Pizza, a beloved culinary gem nestled in the charming town of Fairlee, Vermont. Located conveniently at 456 US-5, this local establishment has captured the hearts—and appetites—of many, earning a reputation as a must-visit dining destination for both locals and travelers alike.
At Leda's Pizza, the art of pizza making is taken seriously. Regulars like Rick White have cherished memories here, reminiscing about family outings that have spanned generations. The inviting atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for families, whether you're a child or the parent of one. It's clear that Leda's Pizza isn't just a restaurant; it's a community hub where friendships are fostered over delicious meals.
What sets Leda's Pizza apart is their commitment to quality ingredients and beloved recipes. Take, for instance, the Mediterranean pizza that garnered high praise from Bram Avontuur. He lauded its perfect thin crust, fresh garlic, and flavorful olives, reflecting a dedication to freshness that is often hard to find. It’s a pizza experience that goes beyond mere satisfaction—it's about savoring each unique flavor that intertwines to create a memorable meal.
For fans of a thicker crust, M Moreno found solace in Leda's take on Chicago-style pizza, which was an unexpected delight during his drive through the East Coast. The balance of cheesy goodness with a well-cooked base shows the craftsmanship behind each pizza, even if some adaptations to personal taste—like additional tomato sauce—might enhance the experience further. This speaks to the restaurant's openness to feedback, highlighting their commitment to customer satisfaction.
Cody Fritz's experience with the Chef's Special pizza was no less impressive. Describing it as the best Greek-style food he's ever had, he points out the robust flavors from the olives and feta, seamlessly intertwined with just a hint of spice. Here, every bite is an exploration, proving that Leda's has truly mastered the balance of flavor, making each visit a delightful culinary adventure.
Lastly, while Sally Slack enjoyed the Chicken Parm Special, she noted a desire for air conditioning, hinting that even the few small tweaks could elevate the dining experience to perfection. Yet, her praise emphasized the quality of dishes that have been making waves in local hearts.
In summary, Leda's Pizza is more than just a place to grab a slice; it is a celebration of flavor and community. The warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere make it a perfect stop for any pizza enthusiast, while the locally-focused approach ensures you're enjoying a slice of Fairlee's culinary culture. So whether you’re a lifelong fan or a first-time visitor, Leda's Pizza is ready to welcome you with open arms and delicious pizza!
“ We ordered takeout this time however we have been regulars there since the kids were babies now they're all grown up and have their babies to bring to the restaurant love this place never fails ”
“ Visiting nearby and got the Mediterranean pizza. Was very pleasantly surprised! A perfect thin crust, fresh sliced garlic, delicious olives, and overall great taste. Wish I had pizza this good near where I live, and that is in a city famous for its great pizza! ”
“ Driving through the east coast trying to find pizza that mimics Chicago Style was not hard to find in this place. The crust is thin but not floppy like NY style. The cheese was delicious and the pizza was cooked well-done as requested. My personal preference is that it needed more tomatoe sauce, but it did not stop it from being delicious. Would definitely stop by if I am near Vermont. ”
“ Stopped here for some food during a long car ride. Extremely glad I did, it's a locally-owned (I think family-owned) restaurant with amazing hospitality. I got the Chef's Special pizza, and I think it was the best Greek-style food I've ever had. The flavor was robust from the olives and feta, yet not overly robust. Had a tiny bit of heat from what I assume was red pepper. Overall amazing pizza, definitely recommend it. ”
“ The Chicken Parm Special last night was excellent. AC would have made it even better. ”
“ Awesome pizza! Would definitely go back when I'm in town! If you are looking for something outside out of a chain restaurant, check this place out! ”
“ I was here recently for a seminar and discovered Leda's. Great souvlaki, bacalava. Stayed open for me the last minute and service was friendly and helpful. Great for small quick meals while traveling but I'd go here if I lived in the area. 5 stars for type of restaurant. Debra ”
“ Discovered this place while in the area for work. What I found was a small newly opened (in the last year) pizza shop with upbeat talkative staff (the 5-0) and fantastic pizza. I will definitely stop here again in the future. The pizza to start with is the "Vermonter" it definitely cannot be beat. I am not sure what the 1 star review is all about ”
